Club Policies and Guidelines

 

MEMBERS and GUESTS ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOU ARE PHYSICALLY ABLE TO ENGAGE IN ANY ACTIVITY, PROGRAM, OR TRAINING PROVIDED AND AGREE THAT ALL EXERCISES AND USE OF THIS FACILITY ARE UNDERTAKEN AT YOUR SOLE RISK. YOU ALSO AGREE TO ACCEPT FULL RESPONSIBILITY FOR ALL PERSONAL BELONGINGS. DEROGATORY REMARKS INVOLVING ANY OTHER MEMBER OR CLUB PERSONNEL WILL NOT BE PERMITTED.

Bodyplex Buford Family Fitness Adventure welcomes you as a new member! Our staff will do everything in our power to provide you a safe and friendly workout experience. We are here to help you reach your fitness goals. Should you have any questions stop by the front desk and our friendly staff will be glad to assist you.

 

MEMBERSHIP ID TAGS/CHECK-IN

Bodyplex issues each member a membership ID key tag to use for identification purposes. You must check in at the front desk and present your key tag to use the facility. You may not let anyone else use your key tag. Use of your tag by anyone else will cause it to be confiscated, and a $15 card fee will be charged to redeem it. If you lose your key tag, then a replacement can be issued.

 

MEMBERSHIP POLICY

Bodyplex designed these membership policies to insure a safer and more enjoyable environment in which to exercise. Please be thoughtful and observe these policies while at the club. Please be aware that Bodyplex may, at its sole discretion, modify one or more of these policies without notice at any time. We will make all efforts to provide you advance notice of any change. Nonetheless, it is your responsibility to be aware of and follow the most current policies.

 

GUEST PRIVILEGES

Bodyplex encourages you to bring friends, relatives and/or business associates. A guest fee of $5.00 is charged or a free 3 day pass can be obtained if they are interested in joining and would like to “test drive” the facility. Ask a Member Engagement Advisor for the pass. We do require a local driver’s license to obtain a 3 day pass. All guests must sign a waiver and check in at the front desk.

 

BODYBUX

BodyBux are issued to members under certain conditions and can be used for drinks, snacks, tee shirts, hats, and any other Pro Shop items. We may offer BodyBux for member referrals so bring your friends, family and co-workers! Some restrictions apply so ask the front desk sales associate.

 

LOCKERS

Bodyplex provides lockers for your use on a daily basis only and strongly suggests that you use a lock to protect your property. Do not leave any valuable property in a locker at any time even if locked. Bodyplex is not responsible for any theft or damage to your property. If you leave a lock on the locker overnight Bodyplex has the right to remove it. Bodyplex will consider your property abandoned if left overnight and shall have the right to donate your property to charity. We want to allow the members maximum access to the equipment and stepping over gym bags is potentially dangerous so be sure they are not in the way of fellow members.

 

PERSONAL TRAINING

Certified Personal Trainers are available (and encouraged!). See the front desk with any questions you may have or for an introduction. For your safety, Bodyplex does not permit any person other than those under contract with Bodyplex to provide personal training.

 

DRESS POLICY

Bodyplex requires you to wear appropriate clothing and footwear while in the facilities. General guidelines are: gym or running shorts, T-shirts, sweat outfits, and sports bras. Clothing should be worn at all times while in the sauna.

 

CONDUCT/GYM ETIQUETTE/CLUB RULES

Exercising in a health club is a shared right. The equipment and facilities are to be used by many fellow members. As such, and so as to provide all members with a safe, secure and pleasant exercise experience, Bodyplex will not tolerate any inappropriate conduct by any member while in the facility. Such conduct includes, but is not limited to, using loud, abusive, offensive, insulting or demeaning language, profanity of any kind, lewd conduct or any conduct whatsoever that Bodyplex feels is harassing or is bothersome to other members or Bodyplex employees. Please do not linger on the equipment as other members may want to use it. Replace the weights on the racks after you use them and wipe off any sweat from the equipment after your use.

 

VIOLATION OF RULES

If any member or guest violates any of these policies, Bodyplex will ask that person to stop and/or depart the premises. A violation may also cause Bodyplex to terminate the violator’s membership according to the terms of the membership agreement.

 

GENERAL POLICIES FOR MINORS

Please check with the front desk for specific rules/guidelines covering Kidsplex Play Center and minors. To join, all minors age 9 and older need the financial guarantee of a parent or guardian and the parent or guardian must sign the Membership Agreement. Minors age 9 and older cannot work out alone and must exercise with their parent or guardian. If your minor child behaves improperly, a Bodyplex staff person may ask you to make childcare or babysitting arrangements.

 

CUSTOMER SERVICE/ASSISTANCE

We encourage suggestions that will help your experience here at Bodyplex be a success. We want you to feel free to suggest any changes that will improve your workout experience. Should you have any suggestions please see any manager or you may complete a comment card and place it into the suggestion/prayer box located at the Wi-Fi area. Our member service team, Kidsplex staff, group fitness instructors and personal trainers are expected, encouraged and empowered to assist you with any needs pertaining to your overall experience. If you should ever require assistance or have any questions related to your fitness journey, please do not hesitate to ask!

 

MEMBERSHIP FREEZE POLICY

You have the ability to freeze your membership for a minimum of 1 month to a maximum of 6 months. In order to freeze your membership, your account must be in good standing. You must complete a freeze form to activate your membership freeze. You may be charged a monthly account maintenance fee of a maximum of $2.00 per person per month. If your agreement has a club enhancement fee, then that charge will be owed at its prescribed time during the freeze. Please note that during your freeze period, your right to use ANY Bodyplex club is suspended. If while on freeze you decide you want to come back earlier than scheduled, we can re-activate your account and start billing you again immediately. Just let us know!

 

BODYPLEX EQUAL OPPORTUNITY POLICY STATEMENT

Bodyplex seeks, enrolls and maintains membership without regard to race, religious creed, color, national origin, ancestry, physical disability, mental disability, medical condition, marital status, sex or age. It is our policy that no circumstances or conduct undertaken by club personnel shall have the effect of discrimination on the basis of any of the aforementioned classifications. All club members shall have full and equal access to the club facilities. Any members with disabilities shall be entitled to reasonable accommodations for their physical and mental impairments. Any member who believes that he/she has been treated unfairly on any of the aforementioned matters should contact the General Manager.

 

MONTHLY BILLING ISSUES AND CHANGES

All members who pay via automatic draft will see charges on their bank statement posted as ASF Bodyplex. If the credit/debit card or checking information that we have on file for your monthly billing should ever change, please call ASF Payment Solutions at 1-800-527-6898 to update the changes. If you neglect to contact ASF to update new credit/debit card or checking information changes, do not have enough funds in your account, or past due, you will be charged a late fee of $9. and service charge of $29.

Mon-Thu: 8:30am-1pm, 4pm-8:30pm
Friday: 8:30am–1pm
Sat: 8am-1pm
Sunday: Closed

HOLIDAYS

Bodyplex observes the following holidays and is closed for business on Easter Sunday, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. We also have limited hours on New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day, Christmas Eve, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day and other selected Holidays. Be sure to check with our member service team as these days approach for specific opening and closing times.

 

TRAVEL POLICY

Active Bodyplex members who are current on all billing obligations may use any participating Bodyplex locations for a minimal travel fee. (Subject to facility participation and membership type)

 

CANCELLATION POLICY

Should you wish to cancel your agreement with us, you can mail (certified mail suggested) or hand deliver a cancellation request letter. We also provide you a form to use if you prefer. Should you wish to come in and use our form, please come between 9am-6pm Mon-Fri. Read your agreement so you will know the terms in which you may request cancellation and to see if any fee applies. Our Member Engagement Advisors can help with any question you may have. You may also contact ASF Payment Solutions at 1-800-527-6898.

 

PRE-PAY ACCOUNTS

We strongly suggest that you not bring cash, checks, debit or credit cards into the gym. You may chose to set-up a pre-pay account where you put a select amount of money on your account to use in the Pro-Shop for drinks, shirts, etc. Once the account is established you won’t need to bring in any additional funds until it is time to “load” it again. There is no minimum or maximum, but if you pay $100 at one time in your account we will give you an extra $15. Grab a drink and tell the front desk staff “to put it on my account”!
